About this tool

This converter produces a clean text-only PDF of the EPUB's content, with each chapter starting on a new page. Embedded images, custom fonts, and complex eBook styling are not reproduced. For purely text books (novels, essays, public-domain literature), the output is highly readable. For richly illustrated eBooks, expect a text-only result.

How to convert an EPUB to PDF

  1. Click the drop area or drag your .epub file in.
  2. Click “Convert to PDF”. The converter reads the EPUB's chapters in their proper reading order.
  3. A multi-page PDF downloads to your device, with each chapter starting on its own page.

Is it really private?

Yes. The file is read into your browser's memory on your own computer or phone, processed there, and handed straight back to you as a download. We never receive, see, store, or transmit it. Closing or refreshing the page clears it from memory.

Frequently asked questions

Is my eBook uploaded anywhere?

No. The EPUB file is opened and read inside your own browser, and the PDF is built locally. Nothing is sent to a server.

Will the PDF include images from the EPUB?

No. This converter produces a clean text-only PDF. Embedded images and complex eBook layout are not reproduced. For purely text books this is usually the desired result.

What about DRM-protected EPUB files?

DRM-protected files cannot be converted. The converter only works on EPUBs you are authorised to read without protection (for example, public-domain books, your own creations, or DRM-free purchases).

Are chapters preserved in order?

Yes. The EPUB format includes a manifest that defines reading order; the converter follows that order and starts each chapter on a new PDF page.

Why are some characters missing or replaced?

The standard PDF fonts cannot render every character (some symbols, certain non-Latin scripts). Unsupported characters are replaced with spaces to keep conversion reliable across any EPUB.

What does this tool not do?

It does not reproduce custom eBook fonts, embedded images, or complex layout. It does not handle DRM. For visually faithful EPUB-to-PDF conversion of richly designed eBooks, dedicated desktop tools like Calibre produce more elaborate output.
