Signing a PDF normally means printing it, signing by hand, scanning it back, and emailing a large file — or uploading a contract to a website you have to trust. PaperLite lets you place a signature image directly onto the PDF in your browser. The document and your signature never leave your device. This is well suited to contracts, agreements, letters and forms where the content is private. For the cleanest result, use a signature saved as a transparent PNG (signed on a tablet, or with the background removed) so no white box covers the form.
Yes. Unlike most online PDF services, this tool does not upload your file to a server. The file is read into your browser's memory on your own computer or phone, processed there, and handed straight back to you as a download. We never receive, see, store, or transmit it. Closing or refreshing the page clears it from memory.
Load the PDF, click the image button, and choose a picture of your signature. You can drag it onto the signature line and resize it. It is free, with no signup and no upload.
A PNG with a transparent background gives the cleanest result because only the ink shows. A plain photo of a signature on white paper will place a white rectangle over that part of the form.
No. The PDF and the signature are combined inside your own browser and never sent to a server, which matters for private contracts and agreements.

Whether a particular signature is legally accepted depends on the document and the laws and rules that apply to it. This tool places a visible signature image; it does not provide certified or cryptographic e-signatures. Check the requirements for your specific document.
